Professional actress across theatre, film and motion capture — from southern Italy to London, Los Angeles, and Bangkok.
Born and raised in southern Italy, Teresa fell in love with performing at a young age.
After graduating from high school, she undertook an internship at Arts Council Malta, where she worked as the assistant to both the artistic director and the project manager. She helped host events with international artists and theatre companies, including Shakespeare's Globe, often participating in acting and singing workshops. Certain that the stage was where she belonged, she enrolled in a performing arts academy upon returning to Italy, where she studied acting alongside ballet, contemporary and jazz dance, and choral singing. Soon after, she began working for local theatre companies as an actress and as a dancer.
In 2018 she moved to San Francisco to study acting for the camera and improve her American accent. She attended scene study classes at the Beverly Hills Playhouse for about one year before moving to Hollywood, where she kept taking classes. Both in group classes and with private coaches she studied audition technique, on-camera and scene study. She even attended a few lessons at the Lee Strasberg Institute. In 2019 she worked as an intern at the American Film Institute, where she had the opportunity to work as Assistant Director at the Directing Workshop for Women and during the organization of the Life Achievement Award for Denzel Washington.
Returning to Italy, she played supporting roles in national and international feature films and, in 2020, got a recurring role in a TV show for the Italian national broadcaster RAI.
From 2021 to 2023, she lived in London, perfecting her acting technique at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop and the British Action Academy, honing skills such as stage and screen combat. She's highly skilled in bare-hand and weapons combat, including swords and firearms. She's also had some experience working as a stunt double and as a SPACT (Special Action Performer) on a few sets, including Mission: Impossible 8 (uncredited/unrecognizable), and as a motion capture performer for the studio Target 3D in London.
